Good Rice (or Good Noodles)

I love rice and noodles.  Here's an easy and delicious side dish that calls for either one.  I got it from my mother-in-law.  I don't know what it's really called, but I've always called it Good Rice.

Cook 1 cup white rice or 8 oz. thin noodles

Place in greased casserole dish.  Stir in and mix well:
1 can mushroom soup or tomato soup (undiluted) -- I prefer mushroom
3/4 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese

Bake covered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.  Raise heat to 400 degrees, remove cover and sprinkle top with bread crumbs.  Bake 15 minutes or until bread crumbs are brown.
