Overnight Breakfast Casserole

My son-in-law served this for Mother's Day and it's so good, we might have it again for Father's Day.  Best of all, you make it the night before, leaving you free to do something else the morning you need it.  But watch out--it's so tasty that I went back for thirds. ;-)

8 slices firm white bread, crusts removed
1 pound ground sausage, fried, drained, crumbled
1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar, grated
8 eggs
2 cups milk
1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire
1 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp salt

Arrange crustless bread in a buttered 9 x 12 pan.  Sprinkle sausage and cheese evenly over bread.  In a bowl mix together eggs, milk, Worcestershire, dry mustard and salt.  Pour over the sausage and cheese layer.  Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Bake uncovered at 325 degrees, approximately 40 minutes.
