Overnight Breakfast Casserole

This is a great brunch dish (maybe you'll serve it on Father's Day). You make it the night before, which simplifies life on the day of the brunch.

8 slices firm, white bread (sourdough is great), with the crusts cut off
1 lb. ground sausage, fried, drained and crumbled
1 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated

Egg mixture:
8 eggs
2 cups milk
1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp salt

Arrange crustless bread in a buttered 9 x 12 dish. Sprinkle sausage and cheese evenly over bread. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs well. Add other ingredients and mix well. Pour egg mixture over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Preheat the oven to 325 and bake uncovered until hot and bubbly, 40-45 minutes.
