Matchless Macaroni Salad

Barbeque season is upon us!  This is a recipe guaranteed to get raves and requests for the recipe.  Better still, it only gets better as it sits.  So make it one-two days ahead.

2-3 cups seedless green grapes, halved
1 8-ounce package shell macaroni (I use the big shells, but small will work fine.)
1 8-ounce can pitted rope olives, drained and halved (I buy the chopped kind and use those)
2/3 cup chopped green onion
2-3 ounces bleu cheese, crumbled
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 tsp garlic powder
3 Tbsp lemon juice
1 cup mayonnaise

Cook macaroni according to package directions.  Drain.  Combine macaroni with grapes, olives, onion, cheese and spices.

Mix together lemon juice and mayonnaise until smooth.  Add to macaroni mix and stir until evenly mixed.

Refrigerate covered several hours or overnight.  If needed, add more mayonnaise before serving.
