Teriyaki Steak

Years ago, when I worked at Nordstrom, the company published a cookbook of the Nordstrom family and the employees' favorite recipes. This cookbook is one of my favorites! Here is a recipe my family loves:

1-2 flank steaks
sauce:
In a small bowl, combine:
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 Tbs honey
3 Tbs cider vinegar
1 1/2 tsp garlic
3/4 cup salad oil
1 finely chopped green onion
Score steak(s) lightly on both sides. Put into a pan and pour the sauce over the steaks. Flip to coat both sides. Cover and refrigerate 24 hours, turning often. Cook under broiler or outside grill until done.
So tasty!
